Denis Waitley's Biography

Denis Waitley, Ph.D., is an author, keynote lecturer, and productivity consultant on high performance human achievement. He inspires, informs, and entertains his audiences, which have included corporate board rooms, athletic locker rooms, and NASA control rooms. A graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy and former Navy pilot, he holds a doctorate degree in human behavior.

Dr. Waitley is the author of over a dozen books, including several international bestsellers like Seeds of Greatness and The Winner’s Edge. He has sold over 10 million audio programs in 14 languages. His album, The Psychology of Winning, is the all-time best-selling program on personal and professional excellence.

Dr. Waitley has counseled winners in almost every occupational and professional field. He has conducted stress management seminars for Apollo astronauts and served as Consultant to the President of the Salk Institute. While he was president of the International Society for Advanced Education, Dr. Waitley studied and counseled returning POWs from Viet Nam. Dr. Waitley also served as chairman of psychology on the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Sports Medicine Council, responsible for performance enhancement of the country’s athletes.
